Can I get some guidance on how to price this job for a large, national hotel chain. My contact says their budget is limited, but I want to bid on this regardless. Here is the info I have from her:

These pictures will be on the website, any literature we print for flyers, brochures, etc. mostly.

Honestly I asked my GM what his budget was and he just said to get 3 quotes from professionals and we will most likely have to go with the cheapest. I honestly cannot get a figure out of him which makes it hard for me to get quotes. UGH, I hate telling you that. But we are a small company and are limitedL. I can tell you that you are the first person I contacted so I have nothing to compare it to at the moment. If you think you will be too expensive you can be honest with me and you know that I will not take any offense. I know your time is valuable! I just remember you doing some for XXX when I worked there forXXXXXX and you did a great job with them.

It will most likely be interior and maybe one exterior of the front of the building. We have the Bistro, Go Board/lobby area, and pool and the rooms.

If we are able to include XXXX Inn it would just be a few shots interior to show the new televisions.

I was thinking between 2-3K for this, but in this economy, Im not sure Id get it. I have no other income right now either as its the crickett season.

How long do you anticipate this to take you? You mentioned this is a chain, how many locations do they have? This will give you an idea of how many people will be viewing this if it's going into flyers, brochures, websites, etc.

I'd say not more than 1 day really. they did some remodeling to two of their hotels here, and want new stuff.

1 day vs 1 hour has a big difference in pricing.
