I'm looking to replace my Wacom Bamboo with a Intuos 4 tablet. On Wacom's site, under Intuos Privilages page, they offer Adobe Photoshop CS5 upgrade 50% when you upgrade from Elements bundled software.

Been searching the Net looking for some in sight to my problem. I already own Photoshop Elements 9 (I believe this is now bundled with Intuos 4) and I'm not sure if I qualify for the Wacom's offer?

I just email Wacom, so hopefully in three days I'll know but I'm sure I'm not the only one with this situation.

I think they mean if you have Elements before you get the wacom Tablet, they try to use you already having elements and wanting to upgrade to CS5 photoshop as a marketing point for you to purchase the tablet, but think about it, the tablets themselves are already $400.00 average, 50% off CS5 is $699.00 so $350.00. You are basically buying photoshop CS5 @ full price and getting the tablet for almost free if you think about it. But if they give you 50% off the upgrade price from elements to photoshop it is still almost the same price $599.00 upgrade price @ 50% it's like $300.00 so do the math either way you will be paying close to $700.00 in the end for the tablet and the photoshop upgrade.

This is what I did, you basically pay full price for Photoshop and get the tablet for free, depending on what size tablet your looking at. If I remember correctly all you have to do is register the included Elements and then pay for the upgrade to full Photoshop. If you are looking for a tablet and don't have Photoshop it is a great deal.

I wish the upgrade price from elements to cs5 was lower, I have cs1 and its one version to old for the cs5 upgrade. I just bought the medium wacom intuos4 a month ago, and finally figured out how to get the software. I did something wrong and the tech support guy was no help by email, even after like 7 emails.
