Hi
Fiiiiiiiiiiiiinally i got my 60D!!!
I have been waiting for this a loong time and, for the few test shots i have already take, i think the wait was well worth it!!

Now i have two questions...
One of the main reason i updated from my 400D to the 60D was the video.
I wrote some classical music and, now and then, there are some concerts i would very much like to record.
I read in many places that the microphones from the camera are not really high quality sound, so i have been looking for some alternative (good audio quality, as you can imagine, is very important).
Has anyone tried the Zoom H2n?
(http://www.samsontech.com …held-audio-recorders/h2n/ (external link) )
I also looked into some other recorders (like some Tascam and Sony) and some microphones (like the Rode,...).

Any ideas or experiences with this?
=)

What about protecting the screen from the 60D?
I took just some pictures, but i found that if i have the screen facing "outside" my nose gets it "greasy", and maybe one day i can scratch it or something.
I know that there are some protection for the screens, but some of them are made out of glass, so i am afraid the screen wouldn't close anymore.
Any advice on some nice screen protection?

well, THANKS!!! =)

I'll now go out and have some fun with it! =)

Only option for the screen I guess is to use the film protectors that are scratch resistant and doesn't leave a residue upon removal if you want the screen to still flip for more protection sometimes; mics I have no clue on. :o

hey
thanks, i will take a look at those film protections. ;)

The budget for the microphone would be 150Euros. But i could try to stretch it to 200E if it would mean a nice difference in quality.
The Zoom H2n here in Finland goes for about 190E, so it's just below the limit!
;)
