This was originally three images - a photo of my son against a black background, an image of an astronaut, and a picture of our cat. The real trick here was getting the cat to look like it was inside the space suit. That was done by adding a shading layer. Then I used a black brush with 50% opacity and around 25% flow, and just brushed in the shadows around the cat's head. The low fill and transparency allowed me to repeatedly brush over the same area until I had the shadow gradient I was looking for. I then added a shadow from the cat onto the image behind, and adjusted the color balance on the space suit layer to try to catch a slight tint from the bright face behind. I really miss going really wide for portraits! dhanson wrote in post #15580079 I call this one "A Boy and His Space Cat"... You done well with the shadowing on the inside of the helmet. Pradeep (but most people call me PJ)
