A couple of mine.
First one I added the two girls and colored the hats purple. Second one I added the sky and color in the water.

Just messing around with these, trying to get better. I have trouble with images where I need the shadow to overlay into the background.

Model was shot in the shade side of a building, everything else added in PS.
STROBIST:
5 YN-460 IIs were used, triggered with rf602s. 2 large softboxes, with 2 speedlights each, lt and rt rear, 1 snooted and boomed overhead

It is better to shoot on grey than white for compositing and maintaining shadows.

Just keep at it, practice and watch every video on youtube you can find. :-)

And ask the folks here for tips on this thread.

I think you have done a good job, but need to sort out the red on the teashirt at the bottom. :-)

Ahh...

Okay.

I still think it is not quite working though, makes it look like the red background is bleeding through. :-)

You would also need to apply it to the creases of the top from the underside as that would be where the light would naturally place itself.
