I saw a similar computer wall paper a few days ago and thought I would give it a try with some of my older photos.

Little composite I did for the wife since there is no way the dogs were gonna let us put hats on their heads. Or sit in front of the tree without trying to eat it.

Greetings!

This is my first ever composite, and from my very first experience with Photoshop. I'd seen a composite from fashion photographer Lindsay Adler, and decided I wanted to try to create an image like that. At the time I only used Lightroom, which could not do that type of image.

Last night I tested Pixelmator. While it has received lots of praise, Adobe has little reason to worry, at least for the moment. The selection tools, good as they are, remain fairly manual. This evening I tried Ps. My result is far from perfect. You can see the "glow" from her skin and along the edge of her hair. My selection wasn't as good as it needs to be, but I experimented a bit and this was better than the very first attempts. Her skin looks like plastic, but, well, that's because it is plastic. Regardless, it's a start.

There are three layers here. One is the model, Aerin. Next is the shadow. The last is a close-up of the dress as background. I'm sure I did lots of wrong things with it. Assuming I keep Ps, I *will* improve.

Enjoy!

Just a whole lot of layers. The sky is breaking up a tad because of the compression, but I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.

Another quick composite I did earlier this evening for a trial 365 project to show people a creative "Self Portrait"

Not quite the masterpiece as some on here, but I just thought it was funny. It is part of my almost complete 365 project.

Does this count as a composite? Took me three photos and a little time to end up with it.

Very disturbing, and very well done! I like how your fingers, your nose, and your face were firmly pressed against the inside of your eye, trying to get out. I do hope you got out, or did you get yourself on the outside to post this while inside of your eye?

Thanks!

I did manage to get out eventually - I managed to find a way out through my nose. Stupid really, should have thought of that sooner - obvious when you think about it....
