So its been a little over a year, any of these people still active on here to chime in about this tripod?

Im looking for a carbon fiber set, to use on occasion, and this one seems to be a good deal. Im about 99.9% uninterested in the head it comes with, as i will be attached my gimbrel style head on it for birds. I'd like something light thats easy to hike and climb with since some of the bird shots im hoping for this winter will be difficult access. Costco doesnt have them, guess I never saw these when I was in the store, but Amazon has them for 109 bucks with free shipping. I figure they will be worth it for the leg set alone.
