I've only posted here a couple times, so I thought I'd post and get some thoughts on these. C&C welcome!

The girlfriend:

They all look a bit underexposed and could use some more light in the eyes. Eyes aren't quite in focus in the first one. But not too bad. Color could use a little pop too.

@Rick Thank you!

Thanks! I know, the first two were on a very cloudy day so I was a bit iffy with exposure, and it was almost dark on the last one. Not making excuses, just sayin'.

Get a reflector and have fun with it. It will make a huge difference.

Yeah, I've been wanting some decent lighting for a while. That's probably next on my purchase list, lol.

meh, perfection perfection whatever - i like them all for what they are!

i specially like the first one - she looks genuine there and i dunno why but because its not lighted in the correct proffesional perfect manor (sarcasm...? lol!) it gives it more character - makes it feel more like its just you and ya girlfriend out for a walk playin around with the camera - more natural, more real, atleast to me it is anyways.

the third one i think too - looks like your both just waiting to cross the road, and you quickly take a photo of her and shes like "who the **** are you?!"

im no proffesional - but for me personally, sometimes photos should just be enjoyed for what they :)

Photos are nice aand cloudy days i think all or most of Amature or Professional photographers hate cloudy over cast days. 90% of my shots out side are all done in camera settings then a little in post but here is a shot with flash subject about 15-20 feet away 70-200f/4L 580exii flash at 200mm just messing around killing time.

Thanks to both of you! :)

I don't mind cloudy days..it seems lately it's been cloudy every time I want to shoot, but I do it anyways, you can go out any time on a cloudy day and not have to worry about all the things you do on a sunny day.

The OP asked for C&C so the expectation is that they are posting the pictures in an attempt to improve their results. Just saying every picture looks great does not help someone out when they are trying to improve. Maybe the OP has a monitor that is a little too bright or may not be aware that the images are underexposed. Who knows.

Simply saying an image looks "genuine" and has "character" because the OP did not pay attention to the details does no good.

If more people were honest with their c&c then more people would be encouraged to improve vs. rolling out the same results again and again....

Preaching to the choir here....but unfortunately that is a large problem with this site.

Yep.. Hit one of my buttons. The other day I saw an image that had a few issues, yet the only c&c the poster received...was compliments on their logo? Go figure.

It should be on now. I have no way of editing besides the free stuff I find online. I try to do everything in the camera, but I haven't gotten to where I can do that every time.

And I agree with the thing about the c&c, I do like to know what I did wrong so I can improve on whatever I need to improve.

I'll see what I can do. Just getting things right in camera will not yield the results you see from many pros - post processing is a large part of creating your final image, just like developing in the darkroom used to be.

Decent free Photoshop-like editor. I don't know a ton about it though.

Anyway, it's not like your images are horrible or anything, but there is always room for improvement.
