I have a post near the end of that long thread about fitting a 1D2 into it. It does work fine, as intended, but with a 24-70 F2.8 and hood, takes up a fair amount of space without room for other large lenses. Moderate/smaller lenses will fit fine. I plan to use it as my 2nd or 3rd camera bag, for when I want to carry a minimal amount of gear. Canon 6D, 1DmkII, IR modified 5DII with lots of Canon L, TSE and Zeiss ZE lenses
