Pretty interesting concept and definitely raises a few questions.

What does everyone think?

The gallery is here in Denton, TX (about a 30 min drive for me) so I might have to go check it out. (I wonder if he'd have a problem with me bringing a camera to his gallery and taking photos of it?)

Hmmm...

I'm not sure I agree with this "Pace feels justified in his actions and believes he broke no ethical rule. “The people [In the images] consciously left the images behind for anyone to see, or to take.”

Yeah, I was wondering about model releases, myself... but would this be in the same category as street photography (no expectation of privacy) or ??

I'd have to agree with you on this Todd, to me it feels the same as street photography and I can't see how any laws were broken but I'm not sure it's anything I'd go out of my way to see either.

Side note: Over gratuitous use of 'Duck Face' is too much to stomach in any situation/setting. When will girls realize how utterly dumb that looks?

So now taking other people's photos now qualifies as art?

Yepper, klepper! ;-)a

Apparently so... I guess the copyright issue is not an issue as the images are essentially "discarded"?

I am more curious that Apple legal would be okay with this. I would assume that Apple would claim them as it's property.
