Cape Horn

The first stop on yesterday's trip out the Columbia River Gorge. The weather started bad, got worse, got windier, and then cold. And it was still a good day!

Ah, so there is another Cape Horn...As Dana Carvey impersonating Johnny Carson would say, "I did not know that...that is some wild stuff."

Nice vista of the Columbia River.

Thanks Mike - Interesting comment - I was drinking coffee (and taking pictures) while a time lapse series was being taken. Stood there for a good 30 minutes watching the clouds move around.

Great shot and I know what you mean about the wicked weather through that area. I was almost afraid to get out of the car to get the shot I posted. Thanks for posting this shot.

Great shot, what can I say? Really captures the feel of the region I think...
