Since they are on a slope, you could try to put them at the bottom and have you stand at the top and shoot down at them, thereby "hiding" more of the background. An alternative is for you to be really low and shoot up and get mostly sky but this one is tougher unless you're farther back because it could make people look "wider" than normal.
Really like the ideas, and there might be just enough of the slopes in the park for this to work. I'll make a storyboard and that'll make it happen.
