I have waited a long time to be able to afford and justify upgrading my lens. I just opened up my new 24-105 L and all I can say is wow. It's a good day

I remember when my 24-105 showed up, my first L... I was magical! Now I have "The Brick" you will prob do the same too. Loved the focal length of the 105 but I liked having a faster lens

Congrats on the new lens! I remember the feeling of my first L and I continue to get it with every new one I get =D. My first one was the 70-200. Really random first but I'm not complaining lol

Congrats! It's really an awesome lens, so awesome I see no reason to 'upgrade' to the 24-70. I don't need the extra stop - but the reach is good to have, and it's a nice sharp lens.

Enjoy it, I know I do. I got mine as the kit lens with my 5D2 and it's fabulous. Great IQ and focus speed. I use mine regularly on both my 5D2 and my 7D as the focal length suits the way I shoot right now. Congrats on your purchase.

I loved the 24-105 on my 5DII. On the 7D, not so much. I like to shoot wider than that. Great lens though.

I can't wait to use it on a real shoot. Think my daughter will be a model this weekend
