Is b&h the cheapest around for the xt grip (bg-e3)? $145 is not bad but i thought i've seen lower. Im picking up the EF50 F/1.8 II tomorrow when i goto b&h. Do do anykind of dealing at the store if you buy a few items?

B&H typically has very competitive prices - a very respected vendor on the net.

Another great alternative (although not as much camera specific gear - more PC hardware specific):

B&H is where I typically go when I want camera gear.
NewEgg is THE vendor I use for all my PC gear.

Cheers!

yup fed ex is always like that - shipping one day earlier. i think its their way of making themselves look better. love fedex. although for first time shippers with them you may miss your package because its a day earlier than expected.

you can find the bg-e3 grip about $20 less on ebay. for something this relatively "inexpensive" i personally dont worry about gray market/with warranty or not. i have the grip for the 300d and got it for $80 but gahhh i wish i could remember who the seller was since i just emailed him if i could have one at 80shipped (w/o the binding terms of an auction) and he agreed

b&h isnt the cheapest deal around but nevertheless a reputable store

Well i wish i had my spare battery with me when i picked everything up. I didn't install it till about 10 minutes ago. MY GOD WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! It just makes it so much easier to handle when shooting normally or vertically. The hand strap is unbelievabel too. I dont have to wrap the neck strap around my wrist twice and then grab it with my pinky to hold on to it. And the 50mm, WOW, i can't even describe how much i love this lens already
