jazz - add your own

Some thoughts:

For me, the starting point is that I like the music. Given that, and maybe an openness and interest for experiment you're ready to go. Jazz is a wide field with lots of variation, so you can find percussionists with lots of equipment and action:

Jim Campilongo, pictured below, playing the 55 Bar, NYC. He's not strictly jazz. He doesn't seem to be strictly anything. Drawing from jazz, blues, country, and rock, his playing has an almost vocal quality to it. One of my favorites and a local. That's actually ISO 16000.

It's the EF 85 f/1.8 --AF like magic bullets.

Here's another from the 55 Bar, NYC. I thought it was a worthwhile inclusion due to the jazz violinist. This is the Melissa Stylianou (vocals) Quintet with guest Zach Brock (violin).

Great work with the focus/DOF

Just my 2 cents: I'd pare it down some more, cropping out the sleeve and the face above the mouthpiece.

That's a fun band. I've seen them a few times and once with Allen Toussaint.
