Makes it very tempting. I was personally considering a T2i for $399 as someone posted here, but for $150 more you get a T3i.

not that it's not a good deal, though. I just have my doubts regarding some of canon's marketing choices among the rebel lineup

I'm assuming there's a T4i around the corner. Seems like Canon is sticking up with its previous plan to roll out the Rebels in Feb/March

That didn't last long. It's now up to $619.

I had the same thing in my cart at Newegg for $624 but was holding off for a day so it wouldn't arrive at the house while I was out of town. Now when I went to pull the trigger it jumped to $799!!!
