I think you mean color cast? CA is usually a purpley color around the fringe of high contrasty parts of your images. I didn't see that in the samples I saw anyways.

I'll look into color cast, not familiar with that, see if I'm doing something to cause it Was there anything large and purple that could've caused a reflection of that color to be cast across the ceremony? idsurfer Cream of the Crop More info | Feb 28, 2012 19:15 | #335 I bet that is your issue. Coming from the 85 1.8 I know what purple fringe is...trust me. It would be around the high contrast areas of a subject. Happens a lot with sunny days and water. I just shot a ton of kayaking pictures in the full sun, many were at 2.0 and I got no PF with the 135. The examples I see form that wedding do not look like PF. Cory

I used to have a 100 Macro (still have a few other macro lenses, actually, including MP-E 65 and 180L), but between 50L and 135L with tubes it never got any use anymore, and I sold it a few months later. There is something extremely satisfying, to me anyway, about images created in macro with these two lenses, using tubes, or occasionally tubes plus extenders. The 100 Macro, and similarly the 100L Macro, which I tested for a while, just didn't generate this feeling for me. ... You may have to add a little sharpening occasionally, but not a lot, just to obtain some more DoF, as intrisically the images are really sharp. I was actually discussing this with another photographer earlier this week, and finally realized why: the 100 macros are very sharp indeed, but they are clinical in their rendering. The 135L just imparts something special, due to the way it renders OOF areas, and the transition from sharp to OOF. HTH, kind regards, Wim Thank you, Wim! I highly appreciate it! I believe I know what you are talking about ... My Flickr
