^^^^^Great image there, Gokusan. Well done.

I concur. At first glance I'm immediately drawn to the statue and it almost looks like you layered in some serious grain...but then I'm drawn to the older gentleman and see that he is razor sharp. Outstanding!

Fanatastic Daniel - love it.

Of course dear camera whiz friend/antagonist Ken Rockwell states you can't have out of focus areas in front of your subject.........so much for another one of his "theories". :)

Ummm couldn't disagree more with this guy Ken, I try to have OOF foreground very often, it makes the subject pop and creates ''3D look''

This. ^^ One of the major complaints some people have with using the 135L is that it flattens the image, but unlike Dankata they dont understand to include 3 planes (foreground, subject, and background) in the subject. One of the things that has always impressed me about your use of this lens is that you include enough foreground to make the image pop. I find myself too subject oriented and often forget to make full use of it.

Its also about great light too. But if you look closely he is compressing some space so that there is depth.

some people here thinks that from the FF body
i think if dankata shoot with his T1i + 135L
he will show us the same magic from this lens :)

Cozmo, serious piece of machinery there! Nice shot, wish it were much larger so I could study that gorgeous frame layout. I love Honda's! Started riding them when I was like 7, about 43 years ago. :)

I shared these in the 5D thread as well, but I think they're more appropriate here. So, here's a couple of shots from this awesome lens:
