Oh yes... here is one (although with the 70-200 II)... Probably be a bit more difficult now without having any lens with IS :D

that shot doesn't need IS coz i'm sure that's a very fast subject. and since it's fast the background will be blurred like that even if you're at 1/400. just my thought. correct me if im wrong.

yah checked the exif and it's taken at 135mm.

Well mode 2 IS does help with panning quite a bit... It corrects up and down movements while panning side to side. You don't NEED IS for panning, but it does help in some cases. :D


That is a pretty funny coincidence it was shot at 135mm! So we can pretend it was the 135L :p
