Were you using pocket Wizards? because last i check the shutter speed/Flash sync with my 5D MKII was 1/200th, at 1/250th i start seeing the dark line at the bottom of the frame!... lol

Fired with Canon 580ex in Manual mode, power @1/64, high speed sync mode. ;)

I agree. That looks great!

A plant called Yaka

Very interesting. That shot is very cool. It gives me the feeling I have no idea the scale of the plant. The photo looks like it could be microscopic, or the tree tops in a forest, or any size inbetween!

Indeed Zoran, when I start getting shots like that one I'll be proud of myself! :) Hope to do as well this weekend, wish I'd have had advance notice on this model and friends, I'd have rented the 135 to try out on my 1DsMkII!

Stunning model, very nicely captured. Welcome to POTN.

I guess this is a post your photo and get praised with "nice shot" thread. If you wanted that, you could post in a Post 1 Award 1 group on Flickr.

+1 facebook dodge Been here for years and always thought critique...good or bad...was what it was all about!

haha, actually, despite my comment, I agree. I just see some people complain in the lens samples threads about critiquing. I guess they don't wanna hurt anyone's poor little feelings.

I totally agree that if you are truly here to learn and grow as a photographer you need to be open to critique and suggestions, regardless of their validity.

Actually it is spelled Yaca in Spanish and it is called Jackfruit in English
