Feb 04, 2012 23:19 | #5 This is the new Canon EF 8-15mm f/4 L USM Fisheye Lens. It was shot at 12mm with a 1D Mark IV. Trying to light this shot was a challenge. It's not easy to avoid shadows (and keep the flash out of the image) when shooting with a lens that covers 180 degrees. Since I'd never ever tried any fisheye before today, this was my first effort with this new (brand new for me) lens. This is an exciting lens for a unique creative challenge. It's a lot of fun just to look through the viewfinder and imagine. Add one or two images to a conventional gallery of shots and it will spice it up nicely. Fun, fun, fun. http://www.the-digital-picture.com …-Fisheye-Lens-Review.aspx Check this out in HD! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IabjY5AmWOk Phil www.zivnuska.zenfolio.com/blog

Did you shoot a card first or just correct the floor cast by eye? 1D4, 6D, 7D2, Sony a6000 with Sony16-70, Rokinon 12mmf2, Canon lenses: 17-40L, 17-55 f2.8, 10-22, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, 70-200mm IS 2.8, 300mm 2.8 IS, 580EXII (3), 430EX, Alien Bees.
