Hi guyes. I have a bit of an issue.

I am eagerly waiting for the Canon Pixma Pro-1 A3+ printer. But it is not released in Norway yet and i have a deadline on delivering a portfolio.

I need to print in A3+ and there are no shops in Bergen (Norway) that does this.
So i turn to you:

Do you have any experience with online print shops that can print my photos in TOP quality in A3+ size?

Thanks in advance.

(No i can not have the prints in normal A3)

Printing FAQ.

You could also try google - link here (external link). Sorry about the funny link site it's just easier that way.

A3+ paper (13"x19") is pretty easy to get a high quality print with because with a modern digital image you can produce an image of 200 ppi or higher and so you don't need to a big resampling routine -- I have 8MP images printed on A3+ with excellent print qality.

So, if you deliver a good-quality image to a pro lab you should be OK, but depending on the price (I know nothing about Norwegian or in fact and European resources) you may want to get some sample/test prints done at a smaller size.

Thanks for the reply's.

Thanks for the funny google link although it failed to answer my question :) I was asking for experiences. I have been to several print shops and several failed to produce fine art quality when they printed. Thats why i asked for someone elses experiences with some online printshops.

Anyways, i have opted to go for one of the print shops that used 300gr paper and just use these prints until my printer arrives :).
