Grand Prix Qatar

The state of Qatar hosts many international sports events including the Grand Prix power boat race. This years winners of the fourth round of the F1 UIM were the Tamoil F1 team helmsman by Guido Cappellini eight times world champion

Hi Ric, where did you get the hat?

I was looking after a group of teenagers from Qatar for the summer whilst they came to the UK to learn English. They were honoured guests at one of the races down in Plymouth and the team gave them all hats, when the time came for them to leave for home they presented me with one of the hats! They really made my summer actually, they were great fun to look after!!!

So do you live over there then? Maybe you know them because they were always telling me about how small their country is, apparently you can cross it in 2 hours?!? I've tried emailing them from their website actually but not having much luck, my arabic is pretty rubbish!

Qatar has a population of around 600000 I believe, but Nationals Qatari of maybe 200000 only
