i bought the 60D and this is my first Digital single lens reflex camera
then i bought the 5D2 Full Frame camera
then i called my friend by phone
i lost the reach with that camera
is there a switch in it to make the sensor crop ? :D
he said no
then by time of use i love it
then i return back to the 60D (sold the 5D2)
my question is :
why untill now i cant forget the full frame camera ?
is there a switch in the 60D to make the sensor full frame ? :D

Doesn't Nikon offer something like this in their full frame cameras where you can use crop sensor lenses on their full frame bodies? I'm sure someone will chime in.

There is nothing you can do on the 60D to make it full frame ever. As said above, cropping will make the 5D croppped.

You can however make the APS-C have the same field of view as FF.

Example... Shooting FF with the 50mm @ f/4

To get the same field of view and same DOF....

Shoot APS-C @ 32.15mm @f/2.5.. This will give very similar results to a FF camera using a 50mm lens.

Surely you just crop? Unless you're talking about a flag in the camera which reduces the amount of data saved (ie crops to crop sensor size) and gives a small fps bump? That might be worth it, maybe.

If you boil it in the blood of an albino frog by the light of a full moon the 60D will turn into either a 5D2 or a beautiful princess. You can choose which one you want.

That tool doesn't turn the 5D2 into a 60D, it turns it into a 30D. Well, better high ISO, but the same resolution.
