Photos from SkyQuest 2005 Skydiving Championship held at Fastasy of Flight in Polk City, FL - November 17 - 20. Images from Saturday’s Swoop event. Overcast, and the sun in the wrong place. Link to Event Gallery (external link)

Some nice shots there and in your gallery, I take it they are meant to either land in the water or just skate over the surface.

Thanks,

This was some type of accuracy event. I didn't get all the details, but as best I could tell they has to touch the water and travel through the gates (foam poles) with the intent of landing on the shore. There were a few good wipeouts!

I missed the freestyle event, it went off later in the day, there was talk of an alligator sighting earlier in the day that pushed things back! Some people have no sense of adventure.
