Thank you,
I know I am cropping off arms, legs, etc. but if I zoom out to keep the whole body the person gets lost in the water... I like to show the emotion of the event or try too!.
I like to shoot tight and crop even tighter.... all I need now is 3D software to make the water come at you... lol.

enjoy your day!
Thanks,
Joe

it's just a personal preference but I really like to see the entire width of the lane for head on fly shots, just to give a feeling of how far the arms are really out there.

---------------Camera, Lens, Flash stuff.. but still wanting more

You're getting body motion blur in all of those shots. What were your shooting settings? Looks like it was indoors with the color on those photos, so it was probably tough.

Hello,
I think I took these SS @ 500, iso up high @ 2500.
Maybe those swimmers are moving as fast as Basketball but on water..lol and I need to move my SS up to 640-800..

that pool area only has one side with a big window at one end of the pool so that is where I try to stay.

thanks
Joe
