Hey everyone, Im gonna be up in the Springfield area, and I want to stop in at a largish photography shop, what is there and what should I stay away from?

Springfield, which state?

Stay away from Springfield, there is nothing there but a few small shops with high prices. There is a Hunt's in Hadley, but they are overpriced as well and their staff is pathetic. If you are in Springfield just order from B+H and it will arrive in a few days or less.

There's some truth to that.

I was out that way last summer and was looking for a hotel. I found on of the nicer ones and was going to pull into a parking garage across the street until I saw some drug deals going down just outside the lobby. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon and looked as if if was business as usual for the guy leaning on a post waiting while for cars to stop. I figured if it was that sketchy during the day I wouldn't want any part of it returning later that night.
