just wanted to share two pics i got two nights ago of my supra

1st one looks like a magazine shot. nice. would have liked the car to be a little bit brighter though.

first one is great man, really looks magazine quality.
fantastic location too. It's really difficult to shoot black car. However, you have nailed it!

good looking supra,

the second shot is a bit dark for me and has a bit of a boring composition. The background is really busy and bright and since the car is very underexposed it almost gets lost in the image and you dont really pay any attention to it at all.

The frist shot is good. A couple of nit-picky things with it though:
1) watch out for poles growing out of the car, unless that is your antenna it shouldn't have been there if the car were rolled up just a few more feet it would have fixed that problem and actually would have helped you "frame" the shot with the two poles on either side of the car (the wooden one on the left and the light pole in the background)

2) and this one is me just being me with black cars. Since black cars are so damned hard to shoot unless you have a realy tall blank wall to throw some really nice even reflections/highlights into the paint i try to clean up the reflections as much as possible, more specifically the light reflections. Notice how the couple of really bright spots on the hood REALLY draw your attention when you first look at the image?

and lastly, this is just an idea, i would bring up the saturation/vibrance up a tad bit. The car is black and it doesnt affect it, but after 5 mins i just now realized there were tailight trails in the image.

Other than that great soup man! Seen your posts around the supraforums from time to time. You have some great locations to shoot at!

I actually tried removing the light but as you can see the color in the sky isn't smooth, there is a path of a light blue in that spot which I didn't personally like.

Not bad shots. I have a black Audi that I am anxiousily waiting on nicer Vancouver weather to try shooting, we should get a group together one night this spring of local Photogs and cars !

I was about to do EXACTLY what Aemraven did, but maybe removed the pole with the banner and powerlines entirely.
