Some Screen Grabs From This Weekend

The following are a bunch of screen grabs from this weekend when a colleague and I were filming a group of WWII German re-enactors. I'm not at liberty to release my footage individually until the main project is approved but, as you will perhaps see, we had a great time - despite the cold.

Are the screen grabs strait out of the camera or post color?

What was the temperature, I just got done shooting for 6 hours in -15C here in the Alps, 5D II didn't skip a beat.

The top two were from my 60D and were coloured in Magic Bullet the bottom two were from my colleagues Sony EX3 also tweaked.

The lowest it got to was around -10C where we were (fortunately there was no real wind in the cover of the forest so it didn't feel too cold). I kept batteries in my pocket to keep them warm but had no problems to talk of.

Looks like you're having a lot of fun John! I'm glad that you got in front of the lens there. -10C is nasty weather to be hanging out in all day. And yeah, your Tascam recorder did a decent job. A wee bit more noise floor than what I would like, but then again, that wasn't critical sound or dialog.

Over all the project looks great! Keep it up and stay warm!
