Well spent a pleasant afternoon at Croft for the RAC rally passing through, some fantastic old machines and drivers really putting them through their paces:D

and Jimmy McRae still being competitive, a pity neither of sons were competing in their MKII's

Hopefully I'll be in Kielder at 5am on Tuesday to follow them through the forest for the day and then back to Croft for the final stage of the rally on Tuesday afternoon

Cheers
Ian

Super shots Ian as always. I particularly like the way you've caught the MkII Escort trying to get the wheels and the chassis going in the same direction.

Nice to meet you today. :)

Great captures particularly like the Stratos as I remember seeing the Chequered Flag Stratos in the trees at Hafren I believe in flames quite a long time ago 1974 / 5 ?

As for the Fords used to love the sound of the engines BDA ? saw them many times on the Circuit of Ireland and the RAC;)

Fabulous watching some of the older marques :)

A great collection of vehicles in 'dynamic' action Ian ;) #4 is a striking machine and is the pick of the bunch for me.

Great shots Ian. Particularly like the shot of McRae climbing the kerb - makes you realise how big they actually are.

Cheers,

Simon.
