For some reason I find seascapes easier to compose in a portrait format. I think I would prefer it if the sunset saturation was exaggerated to deliver on the image's promise. I was dissapointed with the sunrise that morning as well and intend on shooting there again, it's only 5 minutes away. The bummer is that I'll have to wait another year for the sun to be coming up in the right spot. The joys of shooting landscapes 40D EOS
