It sounds like a great camera but I would reserve judgement until we get to see some high-res pics, esp at higher ISOs. 36 MPs is a lot to cram into a sensor of that size!

Not really - it has roughly the same pixel density as the 50D and less than the 7D or 60D, and is only marginally denser than the medium-format Phase One iq180.

If 6 fps isn't enough for sports than either people spray and pray too much or I'm just too dumb to understand...
