Trying to shoot some decent product shots in the shop where I make them. Not getting great lighting. How do you guys shoot flat black?

Yes, motorcycle parts. These pics have had PP. I am finding it to be very challenging to get enough light on the risers to define them without blowing the highlites out.

You can move your shooting location between full sun and full shade to get the light you want. The white board will bounce light up and under the parts. Lay the mat board on a flat surface and bend a curve up on the back half to create a background with no break in it.
