Airshow; Cozumel Mexico style.

I arrived for my annual dive trip to find a great big air show poster at the main desk, so 1 day of diving was cancelled for a day at the new private airport. It was a very good event & unlike at home spectators are allowed very close to the runway. My temporary album is here (will eventually be replaced after I have time for much more careful edits).

too high of shutter speed but as you practice and get more comfortable you should bring it down to a better 1/160 or 1/200 of a second

Yes I agree but I didn't know there was going to be a show & only brought my 7D & Tamron 18-270. All my gear for airshows was at home so I did what I could. The ribbon cut shots are with the camera as high above my head as I could reach just guessing where to pan as he went by.

The 4 shots of the Super Decathlon show it making a landing with a dead engine. The prop isn't turning, no power & a bit of a side wind to the runway. He did an awesome job.
