Negative on the tripod, im not sure what parallax is but im about to google it in a second.
Yea I did use photoshop to make this one I dont really have anything else available unless there is a free panorama program that runs better than photoshop.
@atexasphotog, thanks! my neighbor says that this is the most exciting view he has ever seen of this cookie cutter neighborhood haha.
Paralax is when things in your field of view "move" in relation to one another, because the nodal (the spot light enters your lens) has shifted from one picture to the next. Basically you have changed your POV, and so to, have the position(s) of your subjest relative to your nodal point.
If you want to correct this in the future, using a tripod helps. A proper panoramic tripod head will completely eliminate paralax as it's purpose is to rotate the camera around the ideal (nodal) point where paralax will not occur.
Often times as well, you may get this sort of stitching error when clouds move, or something like that. Photoshop stitcher is pretty good, but I do not find it to be the best. Even if your error is paralax, there is software that will adjust for the sort of misalignment in your pano, as well as clouds and so on (don't get me wrong, Photoshop does get it right some times too!).
One I've used a couple of times that I like, is Hugin. It's free. And Also, PTgui. I like PTgui the best, but it's a pay-for program.
