Some of you may remember that we lost our little Ginger girl the week prior to Christmas who we adopted after she strayed into our yard.

Anyway, on Saturday the 7th of January my mum passed away about lunch time. At about that time a stray cat turned up on our front veranda, he was very vocal & social. He chatted with us for a while then went on his way. Over the next couple of days he would visit & started sleeping on a chair on the veranda. He looked like an entire Tom (cat fighting at night escalated with his arrival) so we checked around the street & the local vets & no one had posted any lost cat notes.
So after about 2 weeks we decided to adopt him, he's been to the vet, had his shots, had the snip & has settled down nicely. Our other 2 cats have accepted him & he loves our GSD Greta.
So it looks like Ginger might have posted a vacancy sign after she crossed the rainbow bridge & Merlin answered!
