I am wanting to upgrade my camera. I currently have a Canon Rebel 1000D. I have decided to get the Canon 7D but cannot decide if I should just get the body or buy the kit with the lens included. The lenses I currently have include Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, Canon EF 50mm f1.4, and Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6. The Canon 7D I'm looking at is listed as $1350 for just the body or $1550 with the 28-135mm kit lens. I'm just wanting some advice as to whether or not you all think it is worth it to spend a little extra to get that lens or not considering the lenses I already own. The lens included in the kit retails for around $360 online right now. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Nope nope nope. You've already got better glass than that kit lens. It's a handy range, but you've already got better.

I sold my used 28-135 for a little over $200 on Ebay, so you might be able to get a little money for it. Otherwise, I'd recommend saving the $200 toward a better lens. Not that the 28-135 is a bad lens, but it's not really a good focal length match with the 7D.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Thanks for all the quick replies. I just wanted to verify with those more knowledgeable than me before I skipped out on the other lens.
