Just got this in email and thought I'd share.

Dear Amazon.com Customer,

Customers who have shown an interest in photo editing software at Amazon.com might like to know about this offer exclusive to Adobe Photoshop Elements and DSLR owners:

Now through March 3, 2012, use code T24B-VECSPP-C8LHAF to save an additional $400 on Adobe Photoshop CS5. Simply enter the code at checkout to see savings. Limit one redemption per customer.

For Win users, the going price is $658.35 so final price would be $258.35.

Not sure if this code is limited to just one offer or many to different customers. I'm not going to use it so maybe the first to use it gets the $400 off!

Reply if you used it and got the discount.

Enjoy!

Adobe use to routinely offer Elements owners an upgrade to their Photoshop CS software for $199. I guess times have changed.

That's not too shabby a deal either. I buy stuff off Amazon, but no email yet. I'm currently a licensed user of CS3, so perhaps there's an upgrade path in the $200 range there..... I just haven't explored it yet.

Glad someone got good use of it!

Oh... did I forget to mention as a gesture of good will, that in return, you'll be sharing the S/N? hehe :D

I recently purchased Elements 10 on Amazon for $50. Maybe that's why they sent the offer on CS5?

I tried the code, said it was not valid. The codes must be specific to the email user. I didn't get this one either. If anyone received one that they are not going to use, I would be grateful for a pm with the code.

thx,

thx,

I'm sure that the discount code that Griz posted worked for me. Maybe it only works for a single use.

I've received a shipping confirmation from Amazon and the price does reflect the $400 off.

these are always one time use codes. I used to get them for all the photoshop products... but I haven't seen one in a while.

I was an Elements user and last year about this time I got the CS5 offer. I payed $299 so I would say $258 is a very good deal.
