I went with a friend the other evening to watch Alabama against Florida while in Tuscaloosa and shot a few from my seats which were 18 rows up, i bumped the iso up on most of them to 3200 and 4000 and getting a good amount of grain but not to bad for just playing around i guess. Here is just a few of the ones i took. Any suggestions on them is always welcome

1,2 & 5 with 5 being my favorite. However, I have to say I love the form on #1, pointy toes, tight legs, cool beginnings to a dismount. Yes, you normally want to catch their faces, but I think from where you were shooting from, you did great!

Great timing on these! I think I'd crop a lot tighter on all of them, though.

These are all good composition but offer a weird perspective because you're so much higher up (not much you can do unless you have floor access). Just remember to shoot tight, and crop tighter. No one cares about the crowd or anyone in the background unless they add to the intensity of the shot.

As mentioned, these look good from where you had to work from but most all would benift with tighter crops.

I'm not positive but I believe that top photo ('planking 2.0' as it was referred to) is Diandra Miliner. She used to be one of my favorite gymnasts to shoot before she went off to college. After 5 seasons of shooting gymnastics she remains the only 10.0 score that I've witnessed.

Some stuff... but never enough!
