Have wondered about 85/1.2, or a Zeiss fast 50, 135/2 or one of the new version long primes recently announced.

I'm saving up for a full frame camera, but will keep my 40D as a backup camera for fast action. My realistic lens collection (in which point I will start spending money on lighting instead) for a 40D and a 5Dmk3:

1.) Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8
2.) 17-55 f/2.8 IS
3.) or Canon 35mm f/1.4L or Sigma 50mm f/1.4
4.) Sigma 85mm f/1.4 (maybe the 135L)
5.) Sigma/Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 (L IS USM II or OS)

I had to post another update to my current lineup. I just finished up my prime needs by acquiring the Sigma 85/1.4 a few weeks ago. This is gonna be it for me for a while!

I don't plan on investing heavily for some time so I'm relatively happy with my current line up which is:

Sigma 10 Fisheye

I know, not really a wide range of uses there but for the stuff I currently shoot I get by. In reality I am probably going to pick up a practical zoom in the near future, looking at 24-105.

If I was in a magic world made of money however, 10-22, 35L and 135L would make me a happy camper.
