Update - Own:
2 bodies +
Canon 70-200 IS
Canon 50 1.4
Tokina 12-24 4
Sigma 120-300 2.8

Would like to add a 16-35 2.8 though. Upgrade my 10D to a 1DMKI. Then i'd be pretty happy with my set. Of course the 85 1.8 is one to have in any collection, but I can get away without it.

17-40L
100mm macro
70-200mmL
400mmL

I've got it already (except for the 400mm - can't decide between the 100-400, the 300mm, or the 400mm)

As of 30 minutes ago I've pretty much got mine. Wouldn't mind adding another fast prime in there and maybe upgrading the telephoto, but it's pretty much all there.

17-40 F/4L
50mm F/1.8
100 F/2.8 Macro
70-300 APO

My ideal lineup is all on order.

24-70f2.8 (on order)
70-200f2.8IS (on order)
300f2.8IS (on order)

I will be adding to it in the not too distant future with the 14f2.8 and 85f1.2, but those are simply to see if I use them enough to warrant keeping them.

Canon 1dmkII, Canon 5D, EF 24-70F2.8, EF 70-200LF2.8IS, EF300LF2.8IS, EF50F1.8, EF1.4x II, 580EX, PD70X, Manfrotto 680 Monopod.

24-70L
50 1.4
70-200L IS
300 2.8L IS

That'd do me.

50mm f1.4
17-40mm f4
70-200mm f4

This for me is what I would do, it's the cheaper way to get good images (all I need is the 70-200 and I would have listen to my advise :) )

It is difficult to *only* choose five, but I believe that will be very happy with these five:

24-70/2.8L (already own)
50/1.4 (already own)
70-200/2.8L IS (arriving in few days :D)
16-35/2.8L (to be bought next month)
85/1.2L (to be bought in 3/4 months)

Alex
