Right now I have

50mm f1.8 (slightly broken)
50mm macro 2.5 (also slightly broken)
16-35 2.8L
70-200 2.8L

I want to get the 24-70mm 2.8L next, then a 50mm 1.4 (or a 50mm L if they ever make one.) I'd also want the 85mm 1.2L but I heard it's slow (although I'd use it for studio work anyway) and the 35mm 1.4L.

A really nice lens I'd like to have is the 200mm 1.8L although I don't think I'd be buying one any time soon (unless canon released a new updated model, I don't want to spend all that money on a used lens although they do seem to be pretty sweet.)

Slightly broken you wanting an excuse to upgrade ;)

Realistically I'm aiming for:

Tamron 17-50mm F2.8
Canon EF 50mm F1.4 (probably not changing my 1.8 for this until I have every other lens in this list :))
Canon EF 85mm F1.8
Sigma 150mm F2.8 Macro
Canon 200mm F2.8L OR the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 (doubt I'll have money for this one too soon)

If I'm allowed to speculate a "dream" set I'd get:

Canon EF-S 17-55mm F2.8 IS (assuming I'd have to keep my current camera which is the 350D, if not then prolly the Canon 17-40mm F4L)
Canon EF 50mm F1.4
Canon EF 85mm F1.2L
Sigma 150mm F2.8 Macro
Canon 70-200mm F2.8L IS
Canon 300mm F2.8L IS (this is the sixth lens I know but cant resist putting it to the list, drool :P)

350D + BG-E3 + kit lens + 50mm F1.8 II

Keeping with the realistic thing,

I have:
24-70L
70-200 2.8L
50mm f/1.4

If I was going full frame I'd sell the 50 and get the 35L. And if this was being unrealistic, I'd also grab the 85L + 300 2.8 IS and call it a day :)

I'm very happy with what I have currently. To make 5 lenses combination, I think I will get either:
- 50mm f/1.4
- 300mm f/4

70-200mm F2.8L
100-400mm L
50mm 1.4
A 100, 150 or 180 Macro

20D / 24-70 2.8L

:-D I wish, I loved the 50mm 1.8, its a fast, crisp, cheap lens. It's just one day it kind of fell apart in my hands (I was focusing and the front part seperated from the back part.) I snapped it back together but now it makes a horrible grinding noise when the autofocus tries to go past the lenses limits (the focus is at infinity but motor tries to keep going and grinds for a second or two.)

The macro also makes a grinding noise and that one I might send in to get repaired (although I don't know where to send it.) Both lenses work though, it's just really annoying using the auto focus on the nifty fifty (it rarely finds the focus point now so it's become a manual focus lens for the most part.)
