Actually a farm on the Washington State side of the Columbia River. The shot was from a couple of hundred feet above the farm. I'll get my head straight and post the shot of the museum later. I guess I could have just updated the photo link so I'm more dangerous tonight than I though.

Yeah..picked up the wrong shot. This is actually a farm on the Washington side of the Columbia I took from an overlook a few hundred feet up. Wind was blowing like a gale and I had to brace myself up against the car to help steady myself. I'll edit and change the header. Sorry 'bout that.

I have to admit it doesn't look like the title but nonetheless it's a nice pastoral scene. I think it could a slight bump in contrast/exposure and I'd like to see more of the river so if you reshoot why not try a landscape?

It was a very hazy day when I got the shot. I did PP to bump the exposure and contrast but was afraid to push it too far. I'm on the east coast so don't know if I'll ever get a chance to get back out and reshoot. I'll keep you advice in mind when framing/cropping future shots.

That shot was taken from Cape Horn on the Washington side of the river on SR14 in a little town called Prindle. Beautiful place though and a pretty shot that could use a wider lens.

Thanks for the comment and for post your photo link. Nice to see a comparison and get a different perspective and odd to find someone that has been to the same fairly obscure place.

Cape Horn is one of my wife's favorite places. She's an oil painter.

There is another overlook quite a ways above this one but it has been closed recently.

And sometimes the haze makes the image.

I did eventually get one but then sold the camera and let the filter go with it since it woudn't fit the new T3i. I still ned to pick a new one up along with an NDF or two.
