Buono Estente,

I was invited back to Liverpool John Moores University to again photograph their Dance students ...

Last year this job prompted me to upgrade from my 20D and broken Sigma 20mm which really were starting to struggle. This year with a 5Dii and 24-70 was much better ...

I was also pleased with my efforts at creating theatre lighting ... although I wasn't pleased with the technician when he eventually arrived, wiped it, and then immediately made means of his egress, forcing me to do it again ...

Cheers. I think I'm just as pleased with the lighting as I am with the photographs ... possibly, don't quote me on this, marvellous ...

Very nice set!

Love #1 also. Think #5 is my favorite, but #3, #8 also standout.

Great job. I really appreciate the way you captured the optimum positions in the flow of the performance.

These were all staged for the benefit of me taking photographs, but I suppose there's still something in capturing each movement at the right time ...

The dancer in #8 made for a number of nice images, actually ... I could probably do a set of her's alone ... I'm not going to, that would be self-indulgent.
