Just picked up a LEE Big Stopper and was wondering how to store it so it won't break. The soft folder bag provided wouldn't protect it long while I am out hiking in the wilderness.

What do YOU do?

NB: filter size is 100mm square

Lowepro S&F Filter Pouch 100 for my Lee and Singh-Ray filters most of the time. If its top flap came down further and if it came with a way of hanging from a tripod it would be perfect. I also own the Lee OEM filter binder that holds 10 filters, but without a slip lock or something similar it's just not as convenient to use, but it fully seals up.

As I wrote in a previous thread, it's a shame that Pelican does not have products in the micro-case series that would accommodate the width of these filters. That would be a perfect case to protect them when using a soft bag. After trying many, I eventually settled on the Lowepro S&F Filter Pouch 100 too, but I'm always worried that a torsion or impact on the bag will still do damage.

I use a Clik Elite filter pouch for my 4x6 filters. I know you're looking for a holder for your round filters, but Clik Eilite makes one of them too.

A little more expensive, but the fit, finish, and functionality is outstanding! It also like it because it has label holders on top of each divider, so I was able to label what filter is in which slot. This has proved to be very handy when out in the field, especially when light conditions are changing fast.

I also have the Clik Elite filter valet. It is relatively compact for what it can hold. The clear tabs for labels is also nice to have. I have my 10-stop square Hitech, 1,2 and 3 stop hard Lee GNDs, 2 and 3 stop soft Lee GNDs and a Singh-Ray reverse 3stop GND in it. The interior is soft enough that I just put the filters in bare without any other covering. Here is the link at B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …are_Filter_Valet_Red.html (external link)

Can anyone give me rough dimensions of the Lee 10 filter pouch?

I need something to store all my filters (3 100x150mm & 2 100x100mm with room for more) but am not sure it'll fit in my bag!
