I'm sorry I haven't posted lately. I've been time constrained and some things just don't get done. Here are some images I made over the last few weeks. I hope you like them. Thanks for looking.

1. Red-shouldered Hawks - male landing on female.

2. American Bittern in flight.

3. Male Anhinga with breeding plumage in flight carrying a branch for his nest.

4.Bald Eagle attacking Great Blue Heron to steal it's prey. The prey turned out to be an American Coot.

5. Male Snail Kite in flight with turtle.

6. Great Egret courtship display on the nest.

7. Limpkins fighting over nesting spot.

8. Great Horned Owl in flight. Note the extremely unusual eye color of this adult female.

Stunning shots as always. When I first saw the anhinga, I thought "too bad there's a stick in the way", then I realized he was carrying it.

Those are all just perfect. I hope I get lucky enough to get images like these. That snail kite is fantastic, I love kites. Dont see enough of them. Only got a few pics on my smugmug and they are only so so. The Owl is one of my favorite. Not sure where I need to go to get Owls in flight. they stya really hidden around here, and come out only at night, and even then I dont see them, just hear them.
