I've got two SanDisk 8GB Extreme's. The B&H page speaks for itself, the card is currently rated 5* @ 594 reviews. :)

Sandisk all the way. It's the only memory card I'll ever use. Tried and true...

Sandisk has never failed me - though I wont speak ill of Transcend as I have a 64GB CF in one camera and would hate it to hear me.

I don't use CF, but for SD, my most commonly used brand is Kingston. Never had one fail yet. I've also used Lexar and occasionally a few other brands over the years. I've used Transcend, but that is also the only brand I've had fail me recently.

I avoid both the overpriced and the underpriced. I only buy Sandisk when they are competitively priced; IMO, they are overpriced most of the time. I also avoid "underpriced" brands like adata, wintech, and the like.

Couple of RAW 16GB, 15 or so Sandisk Extreme 60 mb/s in varying sizes from 2GB to 16GB. I wouldn't personally use anything else but these two.

I have a few cheapies, 2 learns and probably 20-25 Sandisk cards.

I won't buy anything but Sandisk anymore, and only from reliable sellers (the local Pro shop is good, look after me and dont charge silly prices for stuff (ok so they are more expensive than Internet stores, but they have looked after me for years, and are happy to order stuff in, let me wander down the street with gear to really try it out, and are always friendly.
