I shot this back in 2008. I never actually retouched it, but have always liked the shot...
Despite the warmer tone, it was about 10deg outside.

I love the shot, I expect to see John Wayne come riding up over the hill...

I think the warmer tone contradicts the feeling of the photo. It looks like it ought to be cold!

The over exposure is hurting this image for me. If that was toned down it would be better. I like how that wisp of cloud makes the center mountain look like it's got smoke billowing from it.

Me too. I'd like to see more definition on the top edge of the mountains but they look a little washed out. Otherwise great image.
