High Key-ish...yay or nay?

I think it's kind of close. My understanding of high key is that the clothes and background and lighting are all complementary in that there is little tonal contrast. I think if you removed the texture it would high key for sure.

Appreciate the feedback. I have a "thing" for contrasty images, so it's hard for me to scale back on that. I do think I have a better understading now of what high key really is...thanks!

It doesn't really matter if it is high key or not, I really like the feel of your image and you are right...the eyes make the shot and the texture works well here, even though I normally am not a fan of grain or textures.
