OK great. So where can I find a link to all of the files that I need?

Also, do I have to reformat the cards AFTER I have ML installed on them and on the camera?

The download for your camera is here:

Instructions for loading ML onto your camera are provided in the download. Follow the instructions explicitly.

No, you don't have to format your card after loading ML onto it.

Ok thanks! I just did the whole 1.0.9 firmware thing and installed ML. Seems pretty cool, although I wish you could keep the display settings while shooting video as they were.

So now are there more things that one can get as "additions" for ML? I've been messing around with it since I got it and its pretty easy to learn

4 choices...

With no loupe use the 10x zoom when you compose.
Get an LCDVF.
Use a computer.
Get an LCD from coollcd.com.

And even with ANY of those options I still use 10x EVERY SINGLE SHOT I TAKE for video.

Also, know your lenses. You should mark them with their ACTUAL focus distances, not the crappy little window. I can pretty much know if something is going to be close to focus just by looking at the markings and using a measuring tape.

Hmm that's probably a good idea, except that I only have a 50mm and the kit lens!

But I could do it on the kit. For action MF is near impossible without tons of practice, or tape :)
